About the event
In 2015, Elora, Ontario resident, adventurer and speaker Ian Evans attempted to become the oldest Canadian to ski from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole. In the harshest environment on earth, this is a trek only 300 before him have ever completed. LUNATIC is the film of that expedition.
Before the film screening Ian will take us down his “Road to Antarctica”, using stories and fun from his extreme expeditions around the globe as well as his training (including tire-towing around his village) and preparations for the expedition. We will conclude the event with a Q&A session. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the OWEN SOUND NEIGHBOURWOODS NORTH tree fund Tickets $10 in advance through Heartwood box office or online. $15 at the door
